The following types of sports bets form part of our terms and conditions.
SINGLE
A Single is a bet on one selection in one event. Your selection must be successful
for your bet to win.
EACH-WAY SINGLE
An each way single consists of two bets on one selection in one event, with
the first bet on the selection to win and the second bet on the selection
to be placed. The specific terms of the place element of an each way bet will
vary depending on the event, and will be clearly displayed.
PLACE ONLY
A Place Only bet involves one selection in one event. Your selection must
be placed for your bet to win and your return will depend on the place terms
displayed on the event.
DOUBLES
A Double consists of one bet involving two selections from different events.
Both selections must be successful for your bet to win.
TREBLES
A Treble consists of one bet involving three selections from different events.
All three must be successful for your bet to win.
ACCUMULATOR
An Accumulator is one bet with four or more selections from different events.
All four must be successful for your bet to win.
PERMUTATIONS
A Permutation is a bet that includes several events at a time, giving you
the chance to forecast different outcomes for each event. Every column counts
as an additional bet. You must bet the same amount on each column. You may
select up to 14 events.
The following illustrates a multiple bet (in this case a treble) forecasting
Leeds to win at home, Inter and Juventus to draw and Barcelona to win away
from home. The Column looks like this:
Leeds-Chelsea 1
Inter-Juventus X
Real.Madrid-Barcelona 2
The following is an example of a two column Permutation bet forecasting
Leeds either to win at home or to draw (these two different choices count
as two different bets), Inter vs Juventus to draw, and Barcelona to win away
from home. Let's say you put £10 on it. In this case a £10 stake
must be placed on each column making a total bet of £20.
Leeds-Chelsea 1 X
Inter-Juventus X
Real.Madrid-Barcelona 2
Permutation bets can be further developed like this: Leeds either to win
at home or to draw (this double choice counts as two different bets), Inter
vs Juventus to draw, and Barcelona either to win away from home or to lose
(another double choice counting as two more bets). In this case the £10
stake must be placed four times for a total bet of £40. This is an example
of a four column Permutation bet:
Leeds-Chelsea 1 X
Inter-Juventus X
Real.Madrid-Barcelona 1 2
Your total stake will be calculated from the number of columns which result
multiplied by the amount you stake.
The potential winnings are calculated on the highest odds of any column.
The actual winnings will depend on the odds of the winning column.
The Double Chance bet allows you to include two different outcomes for an
event, with the same odds. The additional chance doesn't count as an additional
bet. The odds of the Double Chance bet are lower compared with the permutations
odds, because they are calculated on an average. Therefore the following Double
Chance bet counts as a one column bet.
Leeds-Chelsea 12DC
Inter-Juventus X
Real.Madrid-Barcelona 2
COMBINATIONS
A combination is a bet that gives you the chance to "hedge" your
bets by selecting some of the events as fixed (Bankers). You may select a
minimum of 4 events and a maximum of 14. You can bet on combinations of 3,
4 ... up to combinations of 8.
For example, if you choose the following four events:
Leeds-Chelsea 1
Charlton-Liverpool 2
Inter-Bari 1
Real.Madrid-Barcelona X
you may bet on the combination of four, plus the four combinations of three
(trebles) as follows:
Leeds-Chelsea 1 1 1 1
Charlton-Liverpool 2 2 2 2
Inter-Bari 1 1 1 1
Real.Madrid-Barcelona X X X X
If, by clicking on the appropriate checkbox, you select Leeds-Chelsea as
a Banker:
Leeds-Chelsea 1 B
Charlton-Liverpool 2
Inter-Bari 1
Real.Madrid-Barcelona X
your bet is then on the combination of four, plus the three combinations
of three. The "Banker" is your fixed choice within the combination
as you see in full in the table below:
Leeds-Chelsea 1 1 1 1
Charlton-Liverpool 2 2 2
Inter-Bari 1 1 1
Real.Madrid-Barcelona X X X
You may select different combinations and place different amounts on each
type of them. If you look at the table above you may place £10 on the
combination of four and £5 on the three trebles, for a total bet of
£25. You cannot place different amounts on each treble.
The table below shows all the possible combinations with the maximum selection
of 14 events.
Number of Events Combinations
3 4 5 6 7 8
